As a collage artist, my work is a reflection of my passion for giving new life to something forgotten about. My art is a visual celebration of the aesthetic of bygone eras and the nostalgia that comes with them.

In my creative process, I scour flea markets, antique shops, and thrift stores to collect vintage materials, such as old photographs, postcards, and illustrations, that I incorporate into my collages. I am drawn to the intricate details and rich textures of these materials, which add depth and character to my pieces.

 

Every step of the process can be meditative, relaxing and allows me to go back in time while staying in the present.

My goal as an artist is to transform these vintage elements into something new and captivating. Through careful arrangement and layering, I aim to create compositions that tell a story, or capture a moment in time.

Ultimately, my hope is that my collages evoke feelings and inspire viewers to slow down, look closely and appreciate the beauty and significance of the details.
